The 9th release from Dramfool is a 10 year old Bruichladdich matured in a bourbon barrel.
It is a nice clean untainted example of a bourbon-matured Bruichladdich.

Tasting notes
Nose neat: Icing sugar, leather, blackcurrant, Horlicks and a faint hint of Elastoplast.
Taste neat: Sweet and malty (Horlicks) with a slight fruitiness - blackcurrant and gooseberry. Fizzy on the tongue with the merest hint of something medicinal and smoky.
Nose diluted: Perfumed sweets (not Parma Violets!), vanilla, brown sugar and slightly dusty.
Taste diluted: Sweet and malty with a big mouthful of mixed fruity boiled sweets. Again tiny threads of smoke and Germolene barely make their presence known. Overall, very gentle, sweet and fruity with vanilla and malt undertones.
