The 30th release from Dramfool comes from Edinburgh’s largest distillery this Single Grain whisky was distilled in 1989 and matured for 30 years in a Bourbon cask until being bottled at cask strength and un-chill filtered in 2020 at 48.2% and yielded 182 bottles

Tasting Notes

Nose neat: Hot pine, wood varnish, mixed spice, nail polish remover, candy floss, brown sugar and butterscotch.

Taste neat: Brown sugar, toffee, plums, damsons, cherries, prune juice, cinnamon and toffee apples.

Nose diluted: Wood varnish, butterscotch, caramel, toffee, freshly sanded oak, salted caramel.

Taste diluted: Smooth with rich toffee, caramel, toffee apples, cinnamon, Werther’s Originals, brown sugar, dry hazelnut finish.
