Aromas. The fruitiness is fabulous; Guava, honeydew melon, and succulent grapes all encased in a bubble of sweet oak vanilla, honey drizzled hazelnuts and warm toasted barley. With time and a dash of water floral notes rise serenely - primrose and Lily, marigolds and bog myrtle. It has depth and complexity thanks to the skill of the distillers, the coastal influence and the magic of the Chateau d’Yquem cask. This is a stunning spirit in it’s prime, sophisticated and irresistible; The auld alliance has been recreated on the shores of Islay
