The 35th release from Dramfool is an Invergordon distilled in 1987 it matured in an Oloroso Sherry Butt for 31 years. The whisky was bottled un-chill-filtered at cask strength of 52.8% yielding 472 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
Nose neat: Wood varnish, golden syrup, vanilla, wood putty, caramel, longan fruit, figs, black treacle, ripe plums.
Taste neat: Very sweet and spicy with vanilla, brown sugar, candy floss, dark fruits, Camp coffee, figs, prunes and black cherries.
Nose diluted: Very rich with caramel, toffee, muscovado sugar, wood varnish and figs.
Taste diluted: Vanilla, brown sugar, toffee apples, figs, prunes, black cherries with a slightly peppery finish.
