The 34th release from Dramfool is an Islay Single Malt distilled at Bruichladdich Distillery in 1990. Have matured for 29 years in an Oloroso Sherry Hogshead it was bottled in 2020 un-chill filtered and cask strength 48.1% and yielded 229 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Nose neat: Raisins, prunes, figs, rich honey blackcurrants, dark treacle and vine tomatoes.

Taste neat: Very smooth, lots of dark fruits, Ribena, dark treacle and cocoa. Long lingering aftertaste.

Nose diluted: Still lots of Raisins, prunes and figs. Christmas cake, with red cherries and treacle toffee.

Taste diluted: Rich dark fruits, Ribena, cocoa, treacle toffee, plums and cherries. This whisky is constantly evolving in the glass.
