The 33rd release from Dramfool is a mystery Highland Single Malt. Sly Lichen was distilled in 2010 and matured for ten years in a Bourbon Barrel. Bottled in 2020 un-chill filtered at cask strength 59% it yielded 263 bottles.
Tasting Notes
Nose neat: Very sweet with honey, nail polish, toffee, pepper, sandalwood, Play-Doh, wood putty and Soor Plooms.
Taste neat: Very sweet, honey, sherbet lemons, toffee, caramel, slightly salty, salted caramel, waxy, beeswax.
Nose diluted: Beeswax furniture polish, tablet, foam banana sweets, apple juice, Dib Dab Sherbet, Swizzels Drumsticks, tinned peach syrup with a perfumed floral note.
Taste diluted: Still very sweet with Bib Dabs, Werthers Originals, Horlicks, Tablet, icing sugar, Millions sweets. Waxy and creamy.
