The 12th release from Dramfool is a single malt from The Speyside Distillery. Matured for 22 years in a sherry butt. The whisky was bottled un-chill-filtered at cask strength of 55.0% and 156 bottles filled.

Tasting notes

Nose neat: Very sweet with sherry, plums, cherries, honey, wood varnish and furniture polish. Blackcurrants with liquorice, Barossa Shiraz and sweet fruitcake.

Taste neat: Honeyed oats, cranachan with a savoury undertone, caramel and very sweet. Fruitcake comes through again.

Nose diluted: A leather handbag filled with dark fruits and demerara sugar. The merest hint of freshly struck matches.

Taste diluted: Very sweet with light caramel, fruit cake, syrup and heather honey. Blackcurrant liquorice sweets linger in the background.
