Dramfool’s journey in whisky can be seen in the legacy of the bottlings we have been so proud to discover and share with likeminded whisky fans the world over. From young fresh spirit to five decade old whisky from a closed distillery, each of these bottlings is one I am proud to have put my name to.
My mantra from the beginning has guided me through all these bottles, and of course continues to do so, ‘I will only bottle whisky that I like’. This becomes even more important as we continue expand this journey and explore new facettes of whisky.
The 10th release from Dramfool is a portion of the 8 year old bourbon matured Avian Gull matured for a further year in a fresh Oloroso Sherry Octave, making the whisky 9 years old.
Avian Gull Too was bottled at cask strength of 57.9%, and 66 bottles have been released.

Distilled on 25th April 2007 it matured in Bourbon barrel #657 until bottled on 12th October 2017 at aged 10 years. Bottled un-chill filtered at cask strength 62.2% it yielded 258 bottles.

Carsebridge was a grain distillery located just outside Alloa in Clackmannanshire. It was closed by DCL in 1983, and was never officially bottled by its owners.
The whisky was bottled at cask strength of 40.8% at 52 years old one of only 50 bottles.

Avian Gull was distilled in June 2008 and was bottled in February 2017 at 8 years old. The whisky was bottled un-chill filtered and at cask strength of 59.2%, and 202 bottles have been released.
