Dramfool Bruichladdich 2002, 22 years old, cask #1231
Dramfool Bruichladdich 2002, 22 years old, cask #1231
It has been a while since we released an old Bruichladdich, and to release one at 22 years old is a first for us. Distilled in 2002 in the very early days of the revival of Bruichladdich - this is liquid history!
Spending its whole maturation in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, this is as pure an expression of early Bruichladdich at two decades old that we can remember. The true character of the reborn spirit shines through, as Jim reminds us a distillery powered by people, passion and time - not computers!
Bottled at natural cask strength of 54.1% with an outturn of only 122 bottles, this surely wont last long!
