The 41st release from Dramfool is a special Spirit of Speyside 2021 bottling of Glenmarvellous 9 years old, matured in a fresh Oloroso treated barrel yielding only 227 bottles at cask strength of 58.3%.

Barrel filled on 23/11/2011 and bottled on 22/03/2021.

Colour - Stunning Amber Orange
Aromas - Opens on sherry overtones with a hint of toasted nuttiness and orange rind with a caramel/toffee oaky overture, leading onto piquant aromas of Heather in bloom. As it develops further, the sweet crisp notes of toasted barley evolve in perfect harmony with the spirit which has been distilled to perfection.
Palate - The Oloroso flavours in harmony with the spiciness from the bourbon cask provide a beautifully rich fruity flavour brimming with banana and kiwi. It’s smooth, balanced and for a young spirit the quality of distillation can be enjoyed as the oak and barley pay homage to the spirit and its creator.
It’s a robust young spirit, not oak dominated, fresh & full of the joys of high quality distillation and the best of Speyside barley.
Definitely one to enjoy with friends who appreciate the art of distillation and the quality of the casks.
